Beneficial:
Many persons claim relief for various ear related ailments, the
number of persons who use ear candles continues to grow !!
Controversial:
It is not an exact procedure so effects and results vary from person to
person.
How it works, what exactly is occurring and what really is left
inside the candle is not agreed upon by everyone.
Our
Opinion:
Safety is most important.
So, unlike the majority we strongly advise horizontal positioning
with a slight 25* angle upward during candling.
The contents inside
afterward is so debatable we prefer to leave that one up to each
individual.
Choice:
All well made ear candles will provide a good candling session.
As you become more familiar with and experienced in candling you
will most likely come to your own personal preference as to which type of
ear candle is best suited for you and /or your clients.

Organic
Cotton 100% Organic Cotton Cloth dipped in beeswax / Ecosoya™ soy wax. Burn time approximately 10-15 minutes. Just our opinion, but the organic has the least amount of burn odor. |

Hemp Hemp
grows well without herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides and is
naturally anti-bacterial/anti-fungal. On an annual basis, 1 acre
of hemp will produce as much fiber as 2 to 3 acres of cotton.
Hemp grown for industrial use is very low in THC (the psychoactive
chemical in marijuana), thus making industrial hemp useless as a
drug. There is no chance of intoxication from the use of this cloth.

Cotton In
the United States, the cotton crop uses 25% of the total pesticides.
(Yes, one fourth of the pesticides used in the entire U.S. are used
on cotton.) Cotton is a soil damaging crop and needs a lot of
fertilizer. |

Waxes

BEESWAX A 100% natural wax alternative. Beeswax is the oldest and purest wax in the world. The
Majority of Ear Candles labeled as "beeswax" are
most likely a blend of beeswax and paraffin.
Yes we do
too. Beeswax is very
thick to handle on it’s own so we blend with paraffin or soy
wax. |
SOY
WAX (Ecosoya™
) Soy
wax is a wax that is produced from the oil from the soybean. A 100%
vegetable wax made with soybeans.
Contain no pesticides or herbicides. Is non-petroleum and
biodegradable. Is made ecologically, striving to use nothing but
non-genetically modified soybeans.
Burn clean, with little to NO carbon build up.
Are environmentally friendly, promoting the growth and care
of the environment by utilizing plants. Are made primarily from
domestic grown crops supporting US farmers and economy. |
Paraffin Most
Ear Candles are made with Paraffin and Cotton Paraffin
is a commonly used wax. A Petroleum by-product. It may produce the
same release of carcinogen (when they are burned) in the atmosphere
as your car produces when gasoline is burned. Paraffin is used in
the manufacture of paraffin paper, candles, food package materials,
varnishes, floor polishes, and cosmetics. It is also used in
waterproofing and extracting of essential oils from flowers for
perfume. It contains aromatic compounds, which are released that may
be detrimental to one's health. It could be harmful to the nervous
system, etc. |
